No one has ever landed on Mars, however Remote controlled vehicles called Rovers  have landed and explored the planet. 

They can take pictures, collect soil samples and search for clues of past and present life.

Rocky decided he wanted to fly to Mars. So he packed up some of his things and took off. 

He flew around exploring mars. It was a lot smaller than earth and the whole planet was red. No wonder why they call it the "Red Planet".

It looked very dusty and there wasn't much to see there, it was like a desert. 

It had a lot of canyons and was very musky and rocky, no pun attended.

And a lot of Volcanoes. Mars has the largest Volcano in our solar system called Olympus Mons.

Just as he was about to leave, he saw something coming towards him. It looked like a spacecraft of some sort.
